Twitter became X, and links now come in two flavours: the current x.com form and the older twitter.com form that is still all over the web. Both point at the same post, and both work here.
If you arrived because your link starts with x.com and you were not sure it would be accepted — it will be.

Share menu, Copy link — or just take it from the address bar.
The field accepts both x.com and twitter.com, with or without tracking parameters.
Video in any listed resolution, or the audio track on its own.
Anything that identifies a single post is fine, including the short /i/status/ form that some share sheets produce, and links with www or mobile in front of the hostname. Query strings such as ?s= or ?t= are tracking parameters; they are stripped before the lookup, so pasting a link straight out of a share sheet is fine.
What will not work is a link to something other than one post: a profile, a search, a list, a Community or the explore page. Open the individual post first and copy its link from there.
Video is still transcoded into the same ladder of MP4 variants, so the options you see are unchanged.
twitter.com permalinks continue to work. You do not need to rewrite a link before pasting it.
Posts rather than tweets, reposts rather than retweets. Same objects underneath.
We keep a separate page for the x.com wording because that is how people search, not because there are two different tools. The resolver, the quality list and the download behaviour are identical on every page of this site.
Every tool on this site runs the same resolver — pick whichever matches what you are trying to save.
Paste a link to any public post. Nothing to install, no account, and the options you see are the files the post genuinely contains.
