One field handles all of it. What comes back depends on what the post actually contains, so you never see an option that would fail.
Usually 1080p, 720p and 480p, listed with file sizes so you can choose before downloading. Nothing is re-encoded.
The soundtrack as M4A or MP3, at roughly a twentieth of the size — right for interviews, talks and live recordings.
X stores these as silent MP4. You get that file, plus a real .gif for places that only accept images.
The originals as uploaded, not the cropped, downscaled version the timeline renders.
Why this one
The tool is deliberately small. These are the things it does well, stated plainly.
There is no conversion queue. We read which files a post contains and hand you one — a lookup, not an encode.
No account, no email, no app. There is nothing to create and nothing to delete afterwards.
If an account is protected, there is no public file to fetch and we say so. This is not a tool for getting around that.
Phone, tablet, laptop, a borrowed machine you cannot install software on. It is a web page.
Three steps
No settings to configure and nothing to read first.
Use the share menu on the post, or copy the address bar in a browser. Tracking parameters are fine — we strip them.
Both x.com and twitter.com links work, with or without www. We check the link before sending anything.
Every option shows format, resolution and size. Tap one and your browser saves the file where it normally does.
