This is the browser-only route: one page, one input field, no software to download first. Whatever device you are reading this on already has everything it needs.
That matters more than it sounds. Most of the risk around saving videos comes not from the videos but from the installers people are talked into running to get them.

Bookmark it if you save videos often — there is nothing else to set up.
Copy it from the post's share menu, or straight from the address bar.
Choose a quality and your browser handles the download the same way it handles any other file.
A web page cannot install a background service, add a startup item or ask for administrator rights. Close the tab and it is gone.
Free downloader installers are a classic delivery route for toolbars, ad injectors and worse. There is no installer here to bundle anything into.

The same page, the same steps, whether you are on a work laptop you cannot install software on or a phone.
Any current browser is fine: Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, Brave, Opera, Samsung Internet and the in-app browsers inside most messaging apps. There is no minimum version worth quoting because nothing exotic is used — it is a form, a fetch and a normal file download.
On desktop, files land in your usual downloads folder. On iOS, Safari saves to Files and you can move a video into Photos from there. On Android, Chrome saves to Downloads and the video shows up in your gallery shortly after.
Your browser does the link validation and the download itself. Our server only looks up which media files a post contains; it never proxies the video bytes through itself, which is part of why this stays fast at busy times.
Every tool on this site runs the same resolver — pick whichever matches what you are trying to save.
Paste a link to any public post. Nothing to install, no account, and the options you see are the files the post genuinely contains.
